    Job Description

    Demand Planning

    • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver an accurate, robust and timely
    • 18-month rolling sales forecast taking into consideration of new launches, product promotions, marketing, sales and phase-in/out plans
    • Ensures demand planning software tool is correctly configured, updated, maintained, accurate and available for use by key users and top management for decision making
    • Prepares consensual demand plan in accordance with the Asia and activities

    Sales & Marketing

    Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) Logistics Provider Management

    • Manages the W&D Contract Logistics provider to ensure that warehousing & distribution services are provided to support the business as per contract. Chairs monthly operational and KPI review to drive continuous improvements and manage spending of W&D
    • Liaises with the provider with regards to annual stock take, cycle count and disposal of write off stocks

    Vendor Management

    • Manages the freight-forwarders, contract manufacturing supplier(s) and other external vendors to support the business as per contract.
    • Negotiates with the vendors on pricing, delivery and other contract terms in order to obtain the best price and products/services in accordance to requirements
    • Manages the value-add services and activities including costs management, liaising with vendors and W&D logistics provider on stock movements when necessary

    • Works closely with Rollout function to ensure timely launches according to project plan

    Cost Reduction

    • Plan (OP). Take immediate corrective actions when necessary to rein in costs overrun
    • Continually identifies cost reduction opportunities and recommend realistic time-bound actionable initiatives to materialize the opportunities and drive the implementation of the initiatives

    Continuous Process Improvement

    • Supports the ongoing process to identify the strengths and weaknesses of current work flow and processes and continually looks for opportunities to streamline and improve on an operational level to enhance internal/external customer relationship and business excellence

    Job Description

    Role Purpose

    Support the development of overall Shopper & Customer Marketing planning strategies as well as responsible for transforming the marketing strategy of assigned product / category / channel into

    tactical plan at store level in order to achieve sales volume and market share target.

    The shopper & trade strategies of the assigned product / category / channel need to be aligned to brand strategies and sales objectives, meaning this role will work closely with both functions and often

    co-responsible for the marketing and pricing activities of the company. Primarily this involves the communication and activation of brand strategies to the sales function via category / channel strategies

    within the knowledge of trade requirements which need to be communicated back to the marketing department. Once agreed plans are in place, this role will monitor compliance to agreed strategies &

    tactics, post analyse results and recommend future changes if necessary.


               Shopper & Trade Strategy

    • Develop and implement shopper & trade strategies for the assigned product / category in order to meet the sales & market share objective and target.
    • Plan, review and timely modifications to the in-store promotion calendar for the assigned product / category to align sales and marketing activities.

    • To measure, plan, and forecast promotional programs with the trade for the assigned product / category. The objective of this will be to achieve maximum return on investment with our trading customers.

    In-store Execution Management

    • Ensure that the action plan of responsible channel / customer is in line with brand strategy and channel strategy.
    • Ensure that any supported document, tools or presentation is well developed for Sales work.
    • Ensure the POSM of assigned brand is on-time to deliver to Sales team/stores for on-time implementation.

    Team development (applicable to those with direct report)

    • Set clear objective, identify what to do with clear measurement with direct report.
    • On-the-job supervise team to deliver quality work.
    • Identify individual’s development need and action to develop the direct report’s competencies.

    Obtain & alert with competitive knowledge on market

    • Keep abreast with latest market trends and development, with sound knowledge of competitors’ activities
    • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
