Permanent PositionOur client seeks an experienced Senior Assistant Manager/Manager in Finance to oversee daily procurement operations within the organization. Additionally, this role involves handling various ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as needed.Job Description
- Assess purchase requests to ensure they comply with internal policies and guidelines.
- Contribute to system enhancement projects related to procurement.
- Conduct training and engagement sessions on procurement for Organisation staff.
- Advise requestors on the proper procedures for procurement, including appropriate methods and workflow.
- Evaluate ITQ (Invitation to Quote) documentation and participate in the awarding of new contracts or renewals.
- Oversee the entire tender process, from administration to evaluating matrices, reviewing documentation, creating recommendation reports, seeking approvals, and awarding contracts.
- Maintain a database of term contracts and follow up on tender, ITQ, or renewal requests.
- Aid in validating exceptions identified in Data Analytic Reports.
- Support audit queries and gather necessary data.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned.

- Hold a minimum of a strong Bachelor’s degree accompanied by at least 7 years of pertinent experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Senior Manager, Finance (Procurement)

Permanent PositionOur client is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Finance (Procurement) to carry out daily procurement operations of the organisation, as well as other ad-hoc projects and duties. This role will be reporting to Assistant Director, Finance (Procurement).Job Description
- Provide insights by analyzing spending and supply markets to facilitate demand aggregation and other initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and user experience.
- Offer guidance to user divisions regarding procurement policies, appropriate procurement methods, and workflow procedures.
- Examine and process tender documents to ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, ultimately leading to the approval and awarding of tenders in alignment with the designated approving and signing authority.
- Identify opportunities to enhance work processes and make improvements that add value.
- Execute procurement transactions within Organization’s e-Sourcing portal, including activities such as tender publication, the issuance of tender corrigendum and clarification, contract awarding, purchase order creation, and contract management.
- Ensure the impartial evaluation of bids, review recommendation reports for approval, and forward them to the tender board for the necessary approvals.
- Foster and promote collaboration across departments to facilitate joint procurement efforts by effectively communicating and influencing internal stakeholders.
- Upgrade sourcing and procurement-related systems as needed.
- Deliver comprehensive support, guidance, and training on procurement policies, procedures, and system usage from start to finish.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process by providing assistance and support.
- Aid in the validation of exceptions identified in Data Analytic Reports.
- Participate in various other procurement-related functions and tasks as required.
- Support both internal and external audit activities, including the preparation of necessary schedules and reports for audit purposes, as well as any related consultancy work.

- Strengthen internal controls to ensure their sound implementation throughout all facets of the Procurement function.
- Offer advice and guidance to internal customers and other divisions within the organization regarding their daily procurement activities, ensuring strict adherence and compliance with organization-wide guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and coaching to support their professional development.
- Undertake any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.
