Senior Business Analyst (Financial Institution)

Permanent PositionOur client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their IT Applications team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for banking applications, support the development and implementation of technology solutions, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of critical systems.Job Description
- Work with a wide spectrum of business users, including Bankers, Traders, Finance, Risk, Capital Markets, and Operations teams, to understand their needs and processes and translate them into clear requirement specifications.
- Work on the whole solution lifecycle from Coding/Development of solution, unit testing, support user in UAT, validate results, and implementation in production.
- Liaise with Head Office and/or vendors on projects and issues where needed.
- Provide day-to-day application support to users.
- System enhancement, code changes, and ensure these are managed and implemented timely and smoothly.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Min 6 years of proven experience in IT Business Analysis, specifically in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong coding experience is required.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and/or hands-on experience in the following areas:
- SQL, Data ETL, Hive and data presentation
- Python Development, expertise in at least one popular Python framework.
- Prior experience in supporting MAS regulatory reporting systems would be advantageous;
- Technical knowledge and/or hands-on experience in Microsoft BI solutions would be advantageous.
- Organized, meticulous, independent worker but also able to work in a team.

Business Partnering Executive

Permanent PositionOur client is looking for a finance professional to support business reporting, drive process improvements (including automation), and manage data collection and analysis for Group sustainability reporting.Job Description
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly business performance reports and analysis
- Drive continuous improvements to reporting processes and tools to meet evolving business needs
- Align accounting definitions and treatments across business units to ensure consistency
- Assist with planning, data collection, and management for new initiatives and reporting platforms
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements and automation projects
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain proper data management and documentation practices
- Collect, validate, and consolidate data from operating units to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Standardise data to support sustainability disclosures, compliance requirements, and performance tracking
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as required

- Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years’ experience improving processes, identifying automation opportunities, and streamlining workflows
- Familiarity with business operations, including finance, marketing, and sales; manufacturing experience is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid Excel skills
- Knowledge of Power BI and Cognos is advantageous
