    Job Description

    • Support Global Quality Engineering (QE) on the review and update of the require Product Compliance Standards and Regulations for the Asia countries.
    • Life-cycle projects to ensure product compliance to the regulatory and standard requirements for market access to the respective countries.
    • Manage customer complaints, feedback and returns of products.
    • Lead internal actions to resolve product quality related issues and feedback from customers.
    • Co-ordinate actions for critical issues such as new product qualification failures and delivery stop.
    • Compile and review quality records and documentations.
    • Conduct risk assessment review to ensure adequate corrective and preventive activities are planned and carried out to address the product, process, material quality failures of internal processes and external customers.
    • Perform data analysis of the DoA (Dead on Arrival), DoS (Dead on Stock) and TRR (Technical Reliability Report etc. and propose improvement plans.
    • Perform product qualification to ensure products meet the required product specifications, reliability specifications and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Environmental & Safety standards.
    • Support Global QE plan of Global Product Re-Qualification and Certification.
    • Conduct periodic audit to assess system and process compliance, as well as supplier evaluations and audits.
    • Support Procurement sourcing and material cost reduction activities on supplier or material evaluations and qualification.

    Senior/Regional Marketing Manager (Medical Devices)

    Job Description

    Primary Function:

    • The role will have 50% upstream (working with BU Product Management and Corporate Portfolio Marketing) and 50% downstream (working with Country Product Marketing teams) responsibilities. The role will be based in Singapore.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Support creation and alignment of product and marketing visions with sales and marketing stakeholders to launch platform technologies and accelerate their adoption.
    • Collaborate with peers in Asia regional clinical, hospital and digital product portfolio leaders to ensure coherent product visions and marketing strategies/tactics for the Asian countries.
    • Collaborate with country and corporate partners to build country-specific Product Launch Book plans for major platform products in Asia. Ensure consistent planning process regionally with authentic product positioning, value messaging, clinical integration, and local commercial execution. Conduct post-launch analysis with countries to track execution effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to achieve established launch goals.
    • Identify, establish, and promote best practices to improve the sales and marketing competence in the region.
    • Identify gaps in marketing toolkits, e.g. product claims, messages, QTI (quantify the impacts) references, and sales enablement tools. Drive development or customization of such where necessary.
    • Collect product features and product marketing feedbacks, from tradeshows, market research, customer interviews, focus groups, and KOL case observations. Generate such insights for both existing (post-market) and upcoming (pre-market) products in the pipeline.
    • Develop in-country or in-region business justification for launch and development of new products.
    • Develop productive relationships with regional KOLs and leverage them in their respective countries and internationally.
    • Support product management and product lifecycle management to help address product quality issues and help manage EOL plans.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business/ technology/ healthcare /medical /biomed /nursing disciplines. MBA, or higher degrees preferred.
    • 8+ years of well-rounded medical device/ medical equipment marketing experience, 5+ years of Asia regional roles.
    • Track records in regional product launches and regional marketing programs. Proven ability to effectively position and message products or services internally and externally. Surgical and/or OR relevant experience desired.
    • Experience in driving cross-functional projects in large scale and matrixed organization with functions located both at corporate and local markets.
    • A self-starter, an analytical thinker, and a methodical executer.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% within Asia and US.

    Regulatory Affairs 

    • To assist Head of Regulatory Affairs Head (HRA) to provide leadership and strategic direction of regulatory activities for assigned portfolio in the assigned markets 
    • To interface with other function lines to ensure collaborative connectivity with these key stakeholders, and a more focused Regional Regulatory Affairs (RA) approach to supporting country and regional business objectives and ensure product access.
