    Job Description

    • To plan, organise, direct, coordinate and evaluate all HR services so as to support various departments objectives.
    • Manpower planning and review of recruitment strategies for different categories of staff in conjunction with user departments.
    • To put in place a staff development and succession planning system.  
    • Develop an effective organisational structure, establishing clear lines of authority and responsibilities, and defining duties to assure and facilitate achievement of hospital objectives through developing and supervising of job analysis, preparation and review of job descriptions  
    • Develop and supervise surveys relating to turnover, wages, benefits, etc, to keep abreast of the industry/market and ensure competitiveness and equity.  
    • To monitor employee morale through various employee relation programmes and make recommendation for remedial action if needed.    
    • To put in place a performance management system to enable the hospital to achieve its mission.  
    • As a strategic member of the management team for HR issues.  
    • To lead the institute’s Learning & Development (L&D) function. 
    • To supervise and schedule work of HRM / L&D Specialists and Assistants to ensure effective performance.  
    • To keep abreast of the latest developments in the area of human resource.  
    • To perform any other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent with a Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with more than 10 years of working experience in human resource functions

    One of the top life insurance providers in Singapore is looking for an experienced Senior Learning Partner who will be in charge of improving the technical proficiency, sales and digital skills, and product knowledge of the firm's distribution representatives in both the agency and bancassurance channels through stand-up face-to-face training and/or public relations through the use of digital media.

    Job Description

    • Create pertinent training materials that will improve the knowledge and abilities of our distribution representatives in banks and agencies, with a focus on digital capabilities.
    • Hold webinars and stand-up training sessions to help sales representatives receive product and sales training.
    • Implement strategies and initiatives for the agency's segmented targets with the following goals:
      a. Boost new and/or existing reps' sales activities and productivity.
      b. Offer a well-organized training course in product and sales strategies.
    • Coordinate with appropriate training vendors to offer technical proficiency instruction (e.g. CFP, ChFC, specialized insurance segment skillset)
    • Create learning interventions for the classroom, online, or both to increase insurance sales.
    • Promote coordination during large-scale activities involving the agency force, which may require communicating with external parties.
    • Make training and evaluation of newly released products mandatory.
    • Increase the number of new sales representatives hired by putting strategies into place to increase the success rate of required pre-contractual exams.
    • Identify pertinent training programs and activities that would raise the skill level of unit staff members in order to facilitate the capability development of unit staff members.
    • Provide instruction to all OCBC retail sales personnel.
    • Accepts responsibility for taking appropriate precautions to reduce business and regulatory compliance risks.
    • Retains awareness of market developments in terms of emerging technologies, threats, and regulatory compliance in order to comprehend the risk and better protect the business.
    • Draws attention to any potential issues or dangers and proactively shares the best risk-management techniques.
