Senior System Administrator
Singapore
Permanent PositionOur client is seeking a Senior System Administrator to ensure the timely delivery and smooth operation of IT infrastructure and systems within a highly collaborative and agile team environment.Job Description
- Provide system administration of IT systems including IBM AIX, Linux (Red Hat), Windows, VMware, vCenter, Veeam and Cisco technologies.
- Installation, configuration and implementation of IT systems including sizing and renewal.
- Handle new IT infrastructure project management and manage IT asset inventory.
- Responsible for system management tools, cybersecurity policies and IT compliance and hardening as well as assist with IT audits.
- Monitor and enhance system performance and capacity, identifying trends and implementing improvements.
- Assess and specify requirements for system and IT equipment updates, including installation, setup, configuration, and implementation.
- Provide daily IT support for company network equipment (LAN & WAN), such as routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi controllers, access points, RF handhelds, PDAs, tablets, and printers

- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in System Administration of AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware, vCenter, Veeam and Cisco technologies.
- Strong hands-on AIX, Linux, Redhat, Virtual Machine - Lenovo & HP Servers
- Experience in cloud deployment (Azure/GCP) would be an added advantage.
- Team player with good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
