Overall Purpose of Job
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the effective management of warehousing and distribution (W&D), trade compliance and customer service operations. Accountable for planning, organizing, and directing staff efficiently and effectively for operations of Import/Export, W&D, Order to Cash processes and providing timely responses to customer inquiries and resolving customer issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises Import/Export and Trade Compliance operations
- Keeps track of inventories (materials and finished products), and ensures material availability when needed.
- Manages 3PL’s process on warehousing and distribution of finished goods to fulfill customer orders, shipping and delivery of merchandise to customers.
- Monitors expenditure of the Department's budget allocations.
- Ensures material availability, timely distribution, and customer satisfaction.
- Risk prevention and mitigation.
- Supervises sales order management.
- Customer complaint & inquiry management.
- Audits unit activities periodically for compliance to business procedures and workflows, Incl. service improvement recommendations where appropriate.
- Reviews and approves process changes designed to address the changing needs of customers.
- Leads and or participates in departmental/divisional/cross-company projects as assigned.
- Provides the training. (System and Process related)
- Leads, coaches and develops team members.
- Manages the day-to-day activities.
- 15. Ensures company policies and procedures are applied consistently.
