  Job Description

  • Ensure that the teams in plant are working according to EBS principles and that they focus on continuous improvement in a planned and structured way.
  • Ensure that the teams in plant follow Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Code of Conduct guidelines.
  • Commercial responsible for operations, budgeting and results
  • General reporting.
  • Commercial contact to main Microsilica suppliers in the region.
  • Drive improvement of internal & external processes.
  • Main contact between the plants and division/corporate.
  • Follow up and support department manager and local organization.
  • Lead team to achieve key performance for operational performance, including HSE, costs, on time delivery and quality assurance.
  • Review and improve current workflow and establish standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Prepare/organize documentation for board meeting on behalf of the administration.
  • Review all tax returns and ensure local compliance and also meet government requested timelines;
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agent, corporate secretary, banks and authorities.
  • Signing of formal agreements.
  • Administrate budget process.
  • Prepare investment applications.
  • Salary increase, bonus evaluation and pension

  Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in an operations/ commercial activity, experience in an international environment is a must.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with people management, preferably multicultural.
  • Commercial: negotiating skills, contractual understanding, risk management, delivery terms, payment terms.
  • Technical: understanding enough technical aspects of the operations to support and follow up the daily operations.
  • Experience dealing with local authority and related government issue such as permit, license, etc.
