    Senior/Regional Marketing Manager (Medical Devices)

    Our client is expanding its operations in Singapore. Recently moved to its new office space in the Central Area. Our client is a US Multi-National Surgical Medical Devices MNC with robust technologies & award-winning technologies.

    Job Description

    Primary Function:

    • The role will have 50% upstream (working with BU Product Management and Corporate Portfolio Marketing) and 50% downstream (working with Country Product Marketing teams) responsibilities. The role will be based in Singapore.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Support creation and alignment of product and marketing visions with sales and marketing stakeholders to launch platform technologies and accelerate their adoption.
    • Collaborate with peers in Asia regional clinical, hospital and digital product portfolio leaders to ensure coherent product visions and marketing strategies/tactics for the Asian countries.
    • Collaborate with country and corporate partners to build country-specific Product Launch Book plans for major platform products in Asia. Ensure consistent planning process regionally with authentic product positioning, value messaging, clinical integration, and local commercial execution. Conduct post-launch analysis with countries to track execution effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to achieve established launch goals.
    • Identify, establish, and promote best practices to improve the sales and marketing competence in the region.
    • Identify gaps in marketing toolkits, e.g. product claims, messages, QTI (quantify the impacts) references, and sales enablement tools. Drive development or customization of such where necessary.
    • Collect product features and product marketing feedbacks, from tradeshows, market research, customer interviews, focus groups, and KOL case observations. Generate such insights for both existing (post-market) and upcoming (pre-market) products in the pipeline.
    • Develop in-country or in-region business justification for launch and development of new products.
    • Develop productive relationships with regional KOLs and leverage them in their respective countries and internationally.
    • Support product management and product lifecycle management to help address product quality issues and help manage EOL plans.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business/ technology/ healthcare /medical /biomed /nursing disciplines. MBA, or higher degrees preferred.
    • 8+ years of well-rounded medical device/ medical equipment marketing experience, 5+ years of Asia regional roles.
    • Track records in regional product launches and regional marketing programs. Proven ability to effectively position and message products or services internally and externally. Surgical and/or OR relevant experience desired.
    • Experience in driving cross-functional projects in large scale and matrixed organization with functions located both at corporate and local markets.
    • A self-starter, an analytical thinker, and a methodical executer.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% within Asia and US.
